We build aircraft.
We compete on a global stage.
Team Arcis is an Aero-design team at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, operating through specialized technical divisions and a structured leadership to execute engineering projects.
Who we are.
Team Arcis was founded to give engineering students real, substantive project experience demanding ownership, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and the ability to deliver under pressure.
The team operates with defined divisions, design review cycles, and documented engineering standards. Every member is accountable for specific subsystems of the aircraft.
The team has run continuously across multiple academic batches. Each graduating cohort passes down institutional knowledge, design archives, and tested engineering methods.
What we compete in
Arcis participates in two internationally recognised student aviation engineering competitions. Both demand genuine engineering skills.
Engineering culture
built on execution.
Organised by technical division.
Arcis is structured into specialised divisions. Each has a defined scope, a division lead, and integration responsibilities with adjacent teams.
Aerodynamics
Airfoil selection, CFD analysis, Stability analysis and Performance prediction.
Structures
Structural design, load analysis, material selection and fabrication.
Avionics
RC control systems, Propulsion systems, and telemetry systems.
Documentation
Design reports, rule compliance, technical communication, and competition deliverables.
